What is Camp Promise?

Camp Promise is a registered charity and as a non profit, raises all of its funds to operate year round through after school, Spring Break and inner city summer camps for children and youth living within Barrie, Ontario. We are excited about spending time and building healthy relationships with kids aged 5 to 14 years and journeying with those in high school, college, university and gap year placements/internships through leadership development opportunities at camp. Fun, learning, and adventure are our focus, while living out the message of hope and life found in Jesus.

We recognize that the hours between 3:30 and 6:30 pm are the most vulnerable for children and youth, and many families are challenged to find affordable and accessible after school opportunities for their kids. Camp Promise desires to provide a safe, inclusive, financially accessible and meaningful place to come. Kids can receive homework help, make new friends, and have a ton of fun. They will enjoy music, games, sports and other great activities, while learning about God, the Bible, and what their purpose is in this big old world. Spring Break and July summer camps provide full day, low cost opportunities with the same great fun, learning and adventure as the after school program, but MORE!
